Mung Bean Sprouts Omlette
Ingredients:
3.5 oz. ground pork
4 eggs
1/2 bag mung bean sprouts
1/2 tablespoon chopped ginger
1.5 cups warm cooked rice
4 Tbsp fish stock (or water)
Bonito flakes/pickled ginger/seaweed
Salt/vegetable oil/pepper/tonkatsu sauce/ kewpie mayo
Directions:
(1) Beat the egg in a bowl and mix in the fish stock and a dash of salt
(2) Heat 1/2 Tbsp oil in a pan and stir-fry the ginger. When it gets fragrant, add the groud pork, salt, and pepper. Then stir in the rice until it separates. Add the mung bean sprouts then mix in 2-3 Tbsp of Tonkatsu sauce. Take it out of the pan.
(3) Heat 1/2 Tbsp oil and pour in half of (1). Once the outer part hardens, place half of (2) and on top and wrap. Place it on a plate and use a papertowel to shape into an omelette. Repeat the process for the rest of the ingredients.
(4) Top the omelette with Tonkatsu sauce, mayo, bonito flakes, and seaweed on top. Place the pickled ginger on the side and serve.
